Webdirector is an Enterprise Grade Software Application and requires suitable infrastructure to operate effectively, when choosing a suitable virtual hosting vendor use this following as a guide for comparison as the recommended minimum service level.

Hosting Environment

• Corporate Interactive Australian hosting environment is located at the Optus data centre in Ultimo which is a  tier 1 facility – authorized personal can request secure access via Corporate Interactive and Optus.
• Servers are set up in pairs – One being the application server and the second is database server.
• Corporate Interactive have servers in Sydney, Australia, San Diego, USA and on-line shortly in the UK.

Monitoring

• Corporate Interactive servers have monitoring software installed.
• The servers produce a regular ‘heart-beat’ ensuring that they are alive and responding.
• If there is a significant event on a server, where it fails to respond, an email and SMS are sent to support staff at Corporate Interactive to respond.
• Reports of server usage are reviewed each morning Monday – Friday by our operations manager. 

Backups

• Back ups are performed nightly at approximately 3am on all servers.
• Back ups are retained on a rolling 3-7 day basis.
• Corporate Interactive have full server/hardware level redundancy – In the event of severe hardware failure we will replace the entire server and restore.
