And of course ensure that it also looked good! Our approach was to take a holistic view of the organisation and the end-to-end journey of their products, from purchase to fulfillment. To do this, we introduced integration processes that talked directly to their Accounting and Distribution Systems, so this was no longer a time-consuming manual process. With the volume of expected sales, choosing a trusted payment gateway was also paramount. The Commonwealth Bank payment gateway was integrated with WebDirector™ to take credit card payments through the website. In addition to the website, we built a platform for Strandbags’ customer loyalty program. This database holds customer details, purchase history and points allocation.
