| Strandbags approached Corporate Interactive with a complex challenge, wanting to know how they could make an e-commerce website integrate with their existing business processes. And of course ensure that it also looked good! Our approach was to take a holistic view of the organisation and the end-to-end journey of their products, from purchase to fulfilment. To do this, we introduced integration processes that talked directly to their Accounting and Distribution Systems, so this was no longer a time-consuming manual process. We also; Integrated WebDirector™ with their back office for all products, store locations, purchase details and purchase fulfillment and Geo-coded services for local store pick-up or destination warehouse delivery With the volume of expected sales, choosing a trusted payment gateway was also paramount. The Commonwealth Bank payment gateway was integrated with WebDirector™ to take credit card payments through the website. In addition to the website, we built a platform for Strandbags’ customer loyalty program. This database holds customer details, purchase history and points allocation. An integrated email system was also set up to communicate with members in the loyalty program. The Strandbags website and customer loyalty program has achieved phenomenal growth in a short period of time. |
