Royal NSW Bowls Association signs up with Corporate Interactive to build their new website

The RNSWBA is made up of 70,000 lawn bowlers in NSW and  provides and co-ordinates programs that foster and promote the sport of Lawn Bowls to the Australian Community.

 

In 2006, Corporate Interactive delivered a very informative First Class web providing current and historicalinformation, forms, documents, Conditions of Play, picture gallery, results and much more to Australian Bowlers across the Nation. In light of the launch of the new website, National bowls membership numbers were declining, and a lack of cash flow had resulted in several bowling clubs being forced to close their doors. Attracting new members, social bowlers, and the community at large to Bowls clubs was paramount to ensure future success.

  

In a strenuous effort to bring life back to the game of bowls, Corporate Interactive partnered with The Royal NSW Bowls Association. The aim of the partnership is to increase traffic throughout bowls clubs state-wide, and rejuvenate the game of bowls.  The primary tool used to accomplish this goal is the internet. Traditionally, bowls clubs have avoided getting a website because of the high initial investment and ongoing maintenance costs. Other clubs have a website, and are not happy with the look or performance of the site. Websites are very much like the game of bowls, the better the approach, the greater the chance of success.  

  

Bowls Clubs have the opportunity to drive traffic through the doors using the WebDirector Website solution. Using the WebDirector content management system,  updates can be made monthly, weekly, or daily at no cost to the club, keeping the website up to date with current events, while establishing a healthy relationship with club members, social bowlers and the local community at large.
